Sir Arthur

Meet Arthur, our orange tabby cat with a serious identity crisis—or maybe just a superiority complex. Arthur either thinks he’s a sheep or that he personally owns the entire flock. He patrols the pasture like a tiny, furry livestock guardian, weaving between hooves with the confidence of a lion and the entitlement of a house cat who pays the mortgage. If a lamb so much as sneezes out of turn, Arthur is there, judging. We’re not sure if the sheep respect him or just tolerate their strange orange overlord—but either way, he’s absolutely convinced he’s in charge.

Merlin

Merlin is Arthur’s quieter, tuxedo brother—the introverted philosopher of the pasture. While Arthur is busy asserting his dominance over the sheep, Merlin prefers to observe from a distance, usually from the top of a hay bale or nestled in a sunny patch of grass. He’s a gentle soul with wise eyes and a soft purr, showing up like a silent guardian when no one’s looking. He doesn’t think he’s a sheep—he’s pretty sure he’s above all that—but he’ll still follow the flock at a polite distance, just in case they need a thoughtful stare or some emotional support.

BGS Registered Guernsey Goats

Rathbun Lotus

Lotus is the undisputed matron of our goat herd—a wise and steady Golden Guernsey doe who brings calm leadership to the barnyard. She’s the kind of goat who raises her kids with gentle confidence, keeps the younger does in line with just a look, and always knows when it’s time to head to the milk stand. With a beautifully capacious udder and rich, consistent milk production year after year, Lotus has set the standard for our breeding program. She’s more than just a goat—she’s the heart of the herd.

Treasured Filaree

Filaree is our darling Guernsey doe with a heart as golden as her coat. Unfathomably sweet and endlessly gentle, she wins over everyone—goats and humans alike—with her quiet nature and affectionate spirit. She’s the kind of goat who nuzzles into your side just to be near you and follows you around the pasture like a loyal friend.

Rathbun Plutonium

Plutonium is our striking polled Guernsey buck with a powerhouse presence and a name to match. Despite his bold title, he’s a gentleman through and through—curious, respectful, and easy to handle. With strong dairy genetics and a well-balanced frame, Plutonium brings both structure and sweetness to the next generation. His calm temperament makes him a joy to work with, and his polled genetics are a valuable bonus for breeding programs looking to avoid disbudding. We’re proud to have him as a cornerstone of our herd’s future.

Treasured Goldriver

Goldriver is our light gold, long-haired Guernsey buck with a quiet, thoughtful presence. More reserved than his herdmate Plutonium, he carries himself with calm dignity and an almost poetic grace. His longer coat and soft coloring make him stand out in the pasture, but it’s his gentle nature and steady temperament that truly set him apart. With strong milking genetics and excellent conformation, Goldriver brings both beauty and depth to our breeding program—an understated treasure in every sense.

ISBONA Registered Icelandic

EEL Dorri

Dorri is our seasoned Icelandic foundation ewe and the undisputed boss of the sheep. Registered and reliably hardy, she’s all business when it comes to mothering—consistently raising healthy, vigorous triplets with ease. While she’s not one for cuddles or small talk, her strong instincts, excellent structure, and dependable productivity have made her a cornerstone of our breeding program. Dorri leads with quiet authority, keeps the pasture in order, and gets the job done—just the way a good matriarch should.

EEL Dot

Dot is Dorri’s sister and a beautifully marked Icelandic ewe with soft white and morrit coloring that gives her a uniquely elegant look. Though naturally skittish and cautious around people, she’s a quiet presence in the flock and holds her own with gentle grace. Dot hasn’t lambed yet, but she comes from strong maternal lines and shows excellent conformation and fleece quality. With time and patience, she’s a promising young ewe who adds both beauty and depth to our Icelandic flock.

Mukow

Mukow is our registered Icelandic herd sire, named for his striking black-and-white coloring that makes him look just like a Holstein cow. But don’t let the name fool you—Mukow is all sheep and all business when it comes to breeding. He has a classic Icelandic build, scurred horns, and a friendly yet manageable temperament. Mukow sires hardy, well-marked lambs with excellent conformation and fleece. With his bold looks and dependable genetics, he’s a cornerstone of our flock and a real head-turner in the pasture.

HHIS Tindra

Tindra is our eye-catching registered Icelandic ewe lamb with fancy, dramatic coloring and a personality to match. Full of spark and sass, she struts around the pasture like she owns the place—bold, curious, and always ready to make her presence known. Whether she’s playfully challenging the other lambs or striking a pose for photos, Tindra brings energy and flair to the flock. With her strong genetics and striking looks, she’s a standout both in the field and in the future of our breeding program.

Fiber Ewes

Mavis

Mavis is our adorable and slightly goofy Bluefaced Leicester ewe, with a personality as endearing as her fleece is luxurious. She may not be the most graceful sheep on the pasture, but what she lacks in elegance she more than makes up for in charm. Her fleece is a spinner’s delight—full of soft, lustrous corkscrew locks that shimmer in the sun. Mavis keeps things lighthearted in the flock with her curious antics and sweet, approachable nature. A true dual-purpose ewe, she brings both laughter and quality fiber to the farm.

Olive

Olive is our beloved fiber ewe—a charming blend of Icelandic and Bluefaced Leicester with a fleece as soft as her personality. She’s the first to greet you at the gate, hoping for a treat or a good head scratch (preferably both), and she thrives on attention from her human friends. Olive’s wool is long, lustrous, and perfect for handspinning, but it’s her friendly, food-motivated nature that makes her a farm favorite. She’s more like a woolly golden retriever than a sheep, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Poppy

Poppy is Olive’s sister and every bit as friendly and food-loving. An Icelandic/BFL cross, she’s sweet-natured, easygoing, and always the first to the feed pan with a hopeful look and a happy bleat. Her soft, dense fleece and solid build make her a great dual-purpose ewe, but it’s her gentle personality and affectionate nature that make her truly special. Poppy loves scratches, attention, and anything edible—she’s a lovable presence in the flock and a joy to have on the farm.

Zillah

Zillah is our other beautiful Bluefaced Leicester ewe, full of presence and potential. With her tall, elegant build and fine fleece, she represents the best of the BFL breed—graceful, productive, and eye-catching in the field. Zillah has a calm but curious temperament and fits right in with the rhythm of the pasture. As a breeding ewe, she brings strong maternal instincts and valuable genetics to our flock. Whether for fiber, lambs, or simply her regal charm, Zillah is a standout among our dual-purpose sheep.

Marilla

Marilla is our loyal Targhee ewe with a heart of gold and a serious case of human imprinting. Wherever you go, she’s right there—your woolly shadow, following at your heels like a devoted dog. With her dense, springy fleece and sturdy build, Marilla is a classic example of the Targhee breed, but it’s her unwavering attachment to her people that sets her apart. Sweet, attentive, and completely convinced she’s part of the family, Marilla brings both excellent fiber and constant companionship to life on the farm.

Rachel Lynde

Rachel Lynde is our no-nonsense Targhee ewe, named after the famously opinionated character—and she lives up to her name in all the best ways. She’s confident, observant, and always seems to know what’s going on in the pasture before anyone else. With a thick, lofty fleece and a solid, meaty frame, Rachel is a cornerstone of our fiber and meat lamb production. She’s a steady producer, a savvy grazer, and brings a touch of personality and practicality to the flock—just as any good Rachel Lynde should.
